Istanbul Voice Center is an independent subspecialty institute dedicated to voice and swallowing. Clinical care, research, and training sit under one roof, directed by a single clinical focus: the larynx and the functions it governs.
Refer a patient
Most voice and swallowing problems are managed inside general otolaryngology, where they compete for attention with the ear, the nose, the sinuses, and the head and neck. We took the opposite path. By narrowing scope to one organ system, we concentrate volume, instrumentation, and expertise on a smaller set of problems, and we go deeper on each of them.
What this focus makes possible
Office-based laryngology. A substantial share of what once required general anaesthesia can now be done in the clinic, with the patient awake, in minutes rather than a theatre slot. Our practice is built around this shift.
A full range of options for vocal fold paralysis. From injection augmentation to laryngeal reinnervation, we can match the intervention to the patient rather than to the single technique a clinic happens to offer.
Named problems that are hard to find help for. Retrograde cricopharyngeal dysfunction (the inability to belch) and gender-affirming voice care are areas where structured, experienced care is scarce. We treat them as core work, not exceptions.
Care, research, and training, connected
Clinical work generates questions. Research answers them and feeds back into practice. Training passes both on to the next clinician. Our published work spans sulcus vocalis, artificial intelligence in laryngeal diagnosis, laryngeal dystonia, and office-based laryngology, and it is written from the same cases we see in clinic.
We do not publish patient testimonials. For an academic audience, the more useful evidence is method, reasoning, and measured outcomes. Those are what this site tries to show.
