Travelling to Istanbul
Istanbul Voice Center is in Kadıköy, on the Asian side of İstanbul. This page gives practical guidance for patients travelling from abroad: arriving, getting to the clinic, where to stay, and what to expect during your stay.
Arriving in İstanbul
İstanbul has two international airports. Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) is on the Asian side and is usually the more convenient choice for Kadıköy. İstanbul Airport (IST) is on the European side, with the widest range of international connections, but the journey to the clinic is longer and crosses the Bosphorus. Travel times in İstanbul depend heavily on traffic, so allow generous time between landing and any appointment.
Getting to the clinic
The clinic is at Fenerbahçe Mah. Operatör Cemil Topuzlu Cd. No: 25, Daire 2, 34726 Kadıköy. Taxis and ride-hailing services are the simplest way to arrive; show the driver the address. Kadıköy is also well connected by metro, Marmaray and ferry for those staying on the European side. We send directions when your appointment is confirmed.
Where to stay
Staying in Kadıköy, Moda or Fenerbahçe keeps you close to the clinic and avoids crossing the city at busy times. The area has hotels and serviced apartments at a range of prices, as well as cafés, restaurants and the seafront. We do not have arrangements with particular hotels, but we are happy to suggest options when we plan your visit.
During your stay
Your schedule is agreed in advance: assessment, any treatment, and a review before you leave. After some procedures you will be asked to rest your voice or to avoid flying for a short period; we build that into the plan so that your return flight is booked for the right day. Keep your phone available so that the team can reach you.
Before you book
Please check visa and entry requirements for your nationality with official sources, and make sure your travel insurance covers medical travel. Book flights only after we have confirmed your plan and dates.
